UPDATE: Our first four SOLD OUT weeks of Summer Camp under the COVID restrictions went great! Over 300 kids in the month of June alone! July and August camps have space available, but some of the weeks are very close to sold out. We'e been safe and had fun and been outdoors!
We are all hopeful that we can return to some kind of normal throughout this summer. We will sponsor as many of our traditional summer day camps as we can, obviously subject to state and local guidelines. We want to do our best to give kids a chance to get back on the field.
Governor Newsome just announced California Counties can move to Stage 3 - so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Santa Clara County has revised its SIP effective June 5th, and specifically has allowed SummerCamps, under specific conditions.
There are many ways in which we will modify our social and camp behavior to address the public health issue. Among the hygiene and safety issues would most likely include 1) Daily non- contact temperature checks for all campers, 2) Groups will be no larger than 12, though multiple groups are allowed on the fields separated into distinct areas, 3) no shared food or drink available at camps, 4) separation of camps into two or more distinct camps, with limited shared activities (boys and girls camps kept on separate fields all day with separate check-in and check-out, 5) all the well understood behaviors we have learned in this crisis - hand washing, access to disinfectant, regular cleaning of all surfaces, and more, and 6) we may modify the camp curriculum to reflect recommendations fo the US Lacrosse Safe Return to Play Committee.
Santa Clara County requires for June that its residents attend no more than 1 camp over a three week period - meaning you are free to attend as many sessions/weeks of a single camp as you like, but you may not attend multiple different camps in a single three week period.
If we are unable to host a camp that you have signed up for or if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund.
Our 11th Year of Summer Camp Success - We have learned how to do this, and our camps get better each year - combining the best of the old and the new. We are the largest lacrosse summer camp provider in Northern California for a good reason!
Pro, College and Team NorCal Coaches - Our coaching roster is unmatched. Many of our travel team coaches participate in many of the camps, and returning college players and graduates are frequent guests in our Intermediate/Advanced Camps. Our Beginner Camps are staffed by high school players and adult coaches who have the patience and the skill to teach young players how to get started in the game.
Half Day, Full Day and Overnight Options - Beginners can attend half day or full day. Intermediate/Advanced Camp is always full day. Bear Valley Overnight is a four day, three night overnight camp in Bear Valley, California in the Sierra's.
Non-Lacrosse Activities - While we love lacrosse, we find it best to occasionally feather in other co-ed all camp activities like Capture the Flag, Sharks and Minnows, and Lacrosse Baseball and Olympics to help campers make more friends and also keep interest high.
- No change or cancellation fees. Family can change to another available session and pay only the difference in session price, if any. If you feel uncomfortable for any reason about participating in this camp, you will receive a full refund.
- In the event the session needs to be canceled due to health advisories, you will receive credit for a future session or a full refund - your choice.
- All credits must be used by Sept 1, 2021 and can be used for another family member.
- If the session is canceled due to low enrollment, your payment will be refunded back to your credit card.
